Textile Care Instructions
The eucalyptus dyeing method uses colourfast organic plant matter, non bleaching or commercial chemicals frequently used in textiles. These natural dyes are kinder to our skin and general health. For best washing and textile care results we recommend the following:
Please refrain from using detergents and supplement with natural Eucalyptus wool wash (Ecostore wool wash is very good – this can be purchased online at www.ecostore.com or at many natural health food/organic stores such as Flannerys). Alternatively you can add a few drops of Eucalyptus oil in the wash cycle.
AVOID dry cleaning
Eucalypt dyed Cushions
- After gently removing your cushion cover, keep the cover inside out. If machine washing please select the Gentle Wash Cycle. For hand washing, wash in warm rainwater, boiled water or filtered water (tap water tends to have many chemicals such as chlorine which can impact textiles over time).
- Spin off excess water on a gentle spin cycle in your washing machine.
- Hang to dry, away from direct sun.
- Press-iron the cushion cover using a well-steamed iron on medium to high setting (filtered water should be used in your iron).
Eucalypt Scarves

- Squeeze out excess water.
- Hang to dry, away from direct sun.
- Press-iron using a well-steamed iron on medium to high setting (filtered water should be used in your iron).
