Artisan Materials
The finest, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) timbers are selection by master wood workers behind the Artisan Furniture brand. The process of drying and storing timber in particular climates ensures the success of the resource, for cutting, joinery and longevity. Wood 'artistry' not only includes the furniture design but the selection of the timber cuts; the grains to enhance and joints for accentuated detail. 'Markings', knots, veins and unique tree features are selected to enhance each, hand crafted, Artisan Furniture piece.
To compliment the texture of timber and to enhance the experience of Artisan Furniture, premium upholstery textiles with sustainable kudos are selected.

GRUPPO MASTROTTO LEATHER
Quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001 | UNI EN ISO 14001 environmental standard
Gruppo was founded in Italy where it operates 10 of it's 15 leather tanning plants. Over the years Gruppo have made increasing investments to adopt solutions aimed at minimising the impact that hides treatment has on the environment. This has led to implementing water-based finishing processes, and reducing the emissions of carbon dioxide with four 3,100 kW cogeneration plants – corresponding to the electric power of more than 1,000 apartments –, simultaneously producing combined heat and power. A totally electric-powered industrial loader – the first in the world – was planned and built to handle the hides: it is now available in all the production plants of the Group and is also testament to the attention directed to health protection at work.
