European OAK [WPO]

Artisan's solid European Oak with white pigmented natural oil finish forms the majority of Tekstura's stock furniture collection. Oak is certainly a versatile timber which assists with keeping smaller or darker interiors feeling 'lighter'. It also compliments Australia Tasmanian Oak, especially Artisan's Natural Oak clear finish. 

The white pigmented oil removes some of the golden hues within Oak timber. Over time, the golden hues will appear where the customer may either keep applying the white pigment or allow the natural hue to reveal itself. Increased exposure to natural light will ensure the Oak turns it's natural golden hue (your timber floors may also shift in colour with exposure to natural light). 

European Oak also offers some variation in tone. At times, you will notice some soft pinks and of course, knots or burl in the timber grain.
