HEIRLOOM FIBRECRAFT was formed by textile and interior designer, Kim Shipton, commencing as home and fashion accessories, hand crafted and dyed in a signature colour palette, distilled from Australian native plants.

Contact printing, fibre felting, needlework and embellishing were slow craft techniques behind the collection, supplied to specialty boutiques, art galleries and Sydney Opera events. 

Today, Heirloom textiles combine technical printing with photographic and digital art onto naturalist fibres. Biophilic by nature, Kim's work celebrates composition and tone among seasonal native flora and natural landscapes.
