Heirloom Fibrecraft Textiles

Heirloom Fibrecraft was formed by textile and interior designer, Kim Shipton. Heirloom textiles originated as home and fashion accessories, hand woven in naturalist textiles and hand dyed in a signature colour palette, distilled from Australian native plants.

'Contact-printing', Fibre felting, needlework and embellishing extended the collection of accessories, supplied to specialty boutiques, art galleries and Sydney Opera events. 

Today, Heirloom textiles combine technical printing with photographic and digital art onto naturalist fibres. Biophilic by nature, Kim's work celebrates composition and tone among seasonal native flora and natural landscapes.
