COFFEE TABLE // Mars

Mars coffee table is design by Michael Schneider and manufactured by Artisan Furniture in solid FSC timbers. 

Architectural in its form, the Mars coffee table is composed of bold lines and a sculptural form that emphasizes fluidity and continuity. Appearing as if molded from a single bent piece of wood, forming a continuous loop that serves as both the top and the base, the table is in fact assembled from several pieces, with its segments hidden thanks to Artisans superior craftsmanship. Mars curves seamlessly at the sides, creating a soft rectangular shape with rounded edges and corners, while a soft chamfer tracks around the table's outer edge. The inward curves on the sides create an open space beneath the tabletop, offering storage as well as visual lightness, adding a depth of functionality to this well considered object.
