Designed by award winning design studio Regular Company, the Soft Shelf is a shelving system come room divider that features a variation of vertical and horizontal rounded timber planes, intersecting and dividing the structure to create open storage for loved objects to be displayed. Striking from any vantage point Soft Shelf breaks from the traditional bookcase structure by the inclusion of a large timber panel that runs vertically down its back face, sitting adjacent to its end panel, which allows the unit to sit freely within a space unconfined by walls, segmenting and dividing a room, mirroring its own segmented nature. It’s through these large panels of timber that Artisans appreciation for the material shines, as the wood grain becomes the dominating visual element, with the panels themselves receding into a grid of timber. 

The modular, tessellating nature of Soft Shelf makes the unit highly adaptable, allowing for a multitude of visual and functional combinations to suit any space. Soft Shelf can divide and connect a space, as well as complete it.
