Tesa Dining Chair casts a balance between its solid weighty backrest and thin, lighter legs by breaking up these opposing elements with a sculpturally inviting grid seat, in either timber, upholstered or linen netting. Angular in its form, the Tesa features straight lines softened by tight curves, and hidden joinery details, such as the sweeping backrest which runs together off either carver style arm, meeting in the middle at a thin slice of inserted timber. Artisan’s craftsmanship is further exemplified by their beautifully crafted timber grid on their wooden base option, as small strips of timber tessellate to form a seat of positive and negative space. A repeating detail that can also be found in the linen netting option, it is these playful design choices that imbue Tesa with personality, while highlighting Artisans skill as craftspeople, elevating this sophisticated dining chair with a contemporary twist. Tesa chair is suited to various living spaces and particularly to open plan living thanks to it's low backrest height. Tesa offers a generous seat size and hardy frame with the benefit of carver style armrests that slide and hide beneath a standard table top height.
