Thor daybed is designed by Fahmida Lam for Artisan Furniture and features a generously padded seat over a refined and elegant form with a strong emphasis on softness and simplicity. The wooden frame subtly cradles the cushion, slightly rising at the ends like shallow armrests, enhancing the sense of containment and care within the design. Four tapered legs, angled slightly outward, support the bench and give it a light, airy stance while maintaining stability. With its mid-century influences, Thor manages to balance form and function gracefully.

The rounded corners and gently curved edges of the seat give the object a smooth, inviting appearance. The cushioned seat, with a choice of either premium Zenith leather by Italian leather house Gruppo Mastrato, or a wool upholstery by Danish textile masters Kvadrat, contribute to its comfort and understated aesthetic.
