Fine merino yarn has been woven with silk to create a supremely soft textile that resembles the luxury of Cashmere. The merino & silk shawl is fine, lightweight and warm. Composition: 85% Merino Wool / 15% Silk

Heirloom Fibrecraft blends a passion for photography, natural landscapes and floral compositions to create textile designs with 'biophilic' aesthetics or to communicate an environmental message about endangered Australian species. 

'The Remarkables' design is inspired by a trip to Kangaroo Island where the incredible vegetation and landscape provided me with volumes of photographic material. Known for huge granite boulders which have eroded over millions of years, the area is surrounded by vegetation that has adapted to the harsh coastal environment.
